Today was a very evenly matched game against strong opposition in the form of Newcastle West End All Stars. Despite some good periods of possession the girls struggled to break down the opposition defence or find a way past the impressive All Stars Keeper.

Miley broke the deadlock as she made a late penetrative run to get in front of her maker and net home the ball at the far post from a well fierce in cross from Meadow. Katie was strong and impressive disrupting play in the middle of the field. Maisie and Nuala took their opportunities to combine and drive forward and past the opposition players down the wings. Phoebe worked tirelessly to try and weave her way through the opposition and get her shot away. Finally combing with the ball through from Meadow to get her reward. Sienna drove out from the back with the ball with pace and purpose. Emily was strong alert and alive to the threat clearing her line. Issy showed her strength to hold off the opposition player before turning and playing out under pressure. Evie was composed and brave as she swept up outside her box clearing the ball forward or claiming it with safe hands.
