The Blues played their final fixture of the season today and were looking to finish with a bang before heading off on their summer holidays.

The management team decided to mix the side around today with an eye on next season and to give some of the boys the chance to play in different positions.

The boys looked a little tied before the game and took a little while to get going in the game with our normal quick passing lacking. Our slow start allowed Rutherford to take the game by the scruff of the neck and their burley centre forward made life difficult for our defence scoring a couple of goals before half time.

A rallying call by the management team at half time led to a much improved performance in the second half with Harrison controlling the back line with Ethan and Thomas jinking down the right flank providing ammunition to the Matthew supported by Alex, James and George.

Despite a much better 2^nd half the boys were unable to pull the game back but looked much the better side and back to their normally selves.

Well done to Match of Match James who produced his best game of the season with some driving runs and dribbling.
